Gin has a strong citrus scent and a pine-like taste, accompanied by a kick of mild bitterness. The pine-like taste comes from juniper berry, which is the signature ingredient of Gin. The sour taste is due to the usage of many herbs and lime peels throughout the process.
The only consistent flavour threading through all gins, regardless of brand or type, is juniper, a subtle piney scent. However, beyond that, there are hundreds of different botanicals that can be combined in different ways to produce a completely unique flavour for each gin.

Beefeater Imported Gin is a classic London dry gin that has been produced since 1820. It is made with a blend of nine botanicals, including juniper, coriander, angelica root, orris root, liquorice, almond, lemon peel, Seville orange peel, and grapefruit peel.

In terms of appearance, Beefeater Gin is clear and bright, with a slight viscosity when swirled in a glass. The aroma is dominated by the scent of juniper berries, with hints of citrus and spice.

On the palate, the gin is dry and crisp, with a balanced flavor profile that is led by juniper and complemented by the other botanicals. The mouthfeel is smooth and silky, and the finish is long and clean, with a lingering hint of citrus and spice.
