Gin has a strong citrus scent and a pine-like taste, accompanied by a kick of mild bitterness. The pine-like taste comes from juniper berry, which is the signature ingredient of Gin. The sour taste is due to the usage of many herbs and lime peels throughout the process.
The only consistent flavour threading through all gins, regardless of brand or type, is juniper, a subtle piney scent. However, beyond that, there are hundreds of different botanicals that can be combined in different ways to produce a completely unique flavour for each gin.

Inverroche Small Batch Distilled Classic Handcrafted Gin: Appearance: The Classic gin has a clear, bright color.

Aroma: The nose is dominated by juniper, with hints of citrus and spice.

Flavor: The flavor is well-balanced, with juniper and citrus notes followed by hints of spice and herbs.

Mouthfeel: It has a smooth, creamy mouthfeel with a slight warmth.

Finish: The finish is long and warm, with lingering notes of juniper and spice.

Botanicals: Fynbos, including wild rosemary, fynbos honey, and buchu, as well as juniper, coriander, lemon peel, and angelica root.

Distillation Technique: The gin is made using a small-batch copper pot still, and the botanicals are infused separately in neutral spirits before being blended together.
