Bunnahabhain XXV is a distinguished long-aged single malt produced at Bunnahabhain Distillery, founded in 1881 on the northeastern coast of Islay. Unlike many Islay whiskies, Bunnahabhain is known for its largely unpeated house style, and this 25-year-old expression is matured predominantly in sherry casks, contributing to its deep mahogany color and rich complexity. Bottled at 46.3% ABV and non-chill filtered, it offers elegant aromas of dried fruits, polished oak, sea salt, caramel, and subtle spice. The palate is smooth and full-bodied with layers of dark chocolate, roasted nuts, sweet sherry richness, gentle coastal influence, and a touch of soft smoke.
