The nosing of the whisky is so key to appreciation. We suggest you start by bringing the glass slowly towards your nose and then gently smell the whisky. With high strength whisky you have to be careful, as you may anesthetise your nose. This explains why there is such variety in the texture of malt whiskies, from delicate, silky and velvety, to luscious, creamy and full-bodied.

Sailor's Home Stormchaser is a premium Irish single malt whisky crafted as part of the Explorer Series. It is triple-distilled and matured in a combination of virgin oak and ex-bourbon casks, followed by finishing in Irish stout beer barrels and Madeira wine casks. This unique multi-cask maturation creates a rich and complex flavor profile with notes of roasted malt, dark chocolate, vanilla, coffee, and subtle spice. Bottled at 46% ABV, it offers a smooth yet bold character with a long, slightly sweet finish featuring hints of dark fruits.
