The nosing of the whisky is so key to appreciation. We suggest you start by bringing the glass slowly towards your nose and then gently smell the whisky. With high strength whisky you have to be careful, as you may anesthetise your nose. This explains why there is such variety in the texture of malt whiskies, from delicate, silky and velvety, to luscious, creamy and full-bodied.

Ardbeg Uigeadail (pronounced “Oog-a-dal”) takes its name from the loch supplying the distillery’s water. This Islay single malt unites smoky peat with the rich sweetness of ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks, creating a deep, complex whisky.
